Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Senior Backend Developer at Drillo.AI. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for tasks such as computer science, back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems using Python and Django. • Design, implement, and optimize APIs and web services to support seamless data exchange. • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Work with relational databases to design, manage, and optimize data models. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices. • Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues as they arise. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 4-6 years of professional experience in Python development. • Proven expertise in building web applications using the Django framework. • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL. • Familiarity with data-model design and basic UI concepts. • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies. • Experience with RESTful APIs or similar frameworks. Preferred Skills: • Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic understanding). • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment pipelines.
