Position Overview RecruitGo is looking for a Dispatcher that is currently residing in the Philippines who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics and transportation operations of the company. This role involves managing inbound inquiries from carriers, evaluating carrier performance, handling unforeseen delays or cancellations, and ensuring smooth execution of pending dispatches. The Dispatcher plays a key role in maintaining clear and effective communication across teams, particularly between sales and US-based staff, while utilizing various logistics software and communication tools to optimize operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics or call center operations, with excellent problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the company’s logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound inquiries from carriers, providing professional and timely responses.
- Evaluate and verify carrier reliability and compliance to meet company standards.
- Handle deviations, such as delays or cancellations, by implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee all pending dispatches, ensuring they are executed on time and providing status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure seamless communication between the dispatch team, sales, and US-based staff, utilizing appropriate tools and protocols.
- Experience: At least 2 years of verified call center experience or 1 year in logistics roles, with a proven track record in reputable call centers. Preference is given to candidates with stable job histories.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a B2+ proficiency level.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong aptitude for resolving issues and overcoming challenges.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Zendesk.
- Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on attention to detail.
- Independence and Teamwork: Capability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team setting.
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of logistics and transportation management processes.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Additional Software Experience: Familiarity with additional logistics software tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of international shipping regulations.
- Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Multilingual Proficiency: Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory experience is a valuable asset.
- CRM Familiarity: Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Stress Management: Ability to handle high-stress situations with calm and composure.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities for effective task management.
- Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Industry Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices in logistics and transportation management.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday - 4 by 10 schedule (Nightshift or half daily shift - Columbia Standard Time)
