Minimum Requirements:- Grade 12, with relevant degree/diploma (Sales & Marketing preferable)
- Selling Skills Programmes advantageous
- Minimum 4 years sales experience in Transport / Logistics Services
- Advanced understanding of Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong Consultative selling Skills
- Analytical skills
- People oriented, highly motivated and have a friendly attitude
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
- MS Office proficiency
- Networking Ability
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong listening, oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of advertising and sales techniques
- Maintaining a professional appearance at all times and portraying a positive company image
- Possession of a valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Willingness to travel
- Sell company services and products to current and potential clients
- Complete understanding of pricing
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
- Follow up on new leads and referrals
- Identify sales prospects and contact these potential clients
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales activities, follow-ups, and current sales to target reports
- Communicate new service opportunities, information, special developments, or feedback gathered through client visits, to appropriate company staff
- Communicate new company services offered and changes in structure, or pricing with customers
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Meet targets set by Branch Manager/Sales Manager/GM Sales
