Quantity Surveyor

About the company: Stellar has partnered with a nation-wide renowned commercial construction company that is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to recent projects won. Our client has over 100+ staff, offers career growth and a large scope of work. Key responsibilities:

1. Review and negotiation of subcontract terms
2. Contracts management
3. Cost control and reporting
4. Liaise with subcontractors, project managers, clients
5. Analysis of tenders, prepare recommendation for approval
6. Review work procedures before work commences (compliance)
7. Establish and maintain project control registers

To be successful you will have:

1. High-rise or have worked on projects in New Zealand of $80+ million
2. Relevant qualifications
3. 5+ years QS experience in New Zealand
4. Outstanding communication skills
5. The ability to mentor junior team members
