Minimum experience of 5-7 Years of recent experience in Insurance Vertical Mandatory Candidates from Product Companies, FinTech Captives and others, Kindly excuse Role Description Our Client is seeking a Vertical Head for Insurance Vertical. The BU head will be accountable for
- Establish and execute on multi-year business development objectives, revenue growth, profitability of the assigned P&L.
- Establish long term sales goals and monitor achievement, taking necessary action as needed to ensure sales targets are achieved and deals are closed. Assess and determine how the sales organization functions and identify improvements.
- Team effectively with other key BU’s and practice leadership (Digital, Cloud, ADM, Packages/Enterprise Software, IP Solutions and Products, and Business Process Services) to cross-sell and take advantage of our Client's broad services portfolio.
- Play a hands-on role with the Insurance Vertical, maintain a personal presence and high visibility on deals, and directly participate in customer sales cycles at key accounts and on key deals. Negotiate contracts and close major deals with support from and other key executive staff.
- Build a deep understanding of the customer’s environment and pain points; synthesize and share internally so that appropriate value propositions can be crafted.
- Create a long-term strategic plan for the BU in line with the company’s vision /mission/strategic thrust areas. Identify competitive advantages that will enable growth in the BU. Articulate the shared vision for the BU and get buy-in.
- Take ownership and provide leadership for executing and monitoring the plan.
- Create the annual growth plan and budget for the BU in collaboration with the sales executives.
- Assign growth targets to the sales executives; mentor, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals.
- Do prescheduled review of sales performance and take appropriate corrective action.
- Organize training program for Sales staff to continuously improve business development skills as well as technical and domain knowledge.
- Provide Sales enablement for sales staff to be successful.
- Implement programs to engage all associates in the BU to increase collaboration and retention.
- Leverage partnerships with technology & domain product vendors.
- 15-20+ years of total experience with most of one’s career spent working with Insurance clients, and at least 5 years of client level sales leadership experience.
- Should have managed a Minimum Portfolio of 50 Mil USD
- Proven track record growing new revenues at a 15% to 20% a year, meeting, or exceeding revenue targets.
- A “quick study” and “self-starter” - leads with a true sense of urgency. A forward thinker constantly focused on shaping the BU to meet and anticipate both near and long-term business issues.
- Ability to communicate confidently at the C-level and build meaningful internal and external relationships in both the technology and business organizations.
- Background of working in global environments that leveraged offshore delivery capabilities.
- Possesses a point of view on where the Insurance sector is headed and the strategies and solutions that the Organization must embrace to grow its footprint.
- Aggressive, high-energy style to take advantage of opportunities and significantly impact the direction of the Insurance BU yet a team ‘team player’ who wants to leverage the whole firm and is prepared to work with colleagues to build more than his/her own portfolio.
