Job description In this role, you will work with the major financial institutions building cutting edge investment, trading and risk management solutions leading solutions and platforms of the industry. You will work with business stakeholders to uncover underlying business requirements, analyze workflows and understand scalability limitations that need to be overcome to unlock business growth. You will lead creative thinking, efficient design and innovative solution development to fulfill business requirements and solve high value problems. You will analyze large data sets to drive data driven solution design. This will require analysis strong data analysis skills on large volume of financial data – both structured and unstructured. Expertise in advanced data analytics tools, platforms, programming languages and design patterns are critical to succeed in this role. You will work on integrating large number of systems using real-time API and batch processes. You need to perform hands-on design, analysis, modeling, and mapping of financial data across multiple domains - working together with the development team to implement data models, integration and workflows at rapid velocity to achieve the business goals set by the client. You will work in a team of very highly skilled members, and you are expected to collaborate, contribute, generate solution ideas, design and build solution outlines, receive and provide feedbacks, refine solutions to deliver those to the end clients. Roles and Requirements:
- Hands on implementation experience of leading Investment Management Systems and Trading platforms (IMS/OMS/EMS)
- Hands on implementation experience of leading solution platforms, such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, Calypso, Charles River, Tradeweb, etc.)
- Modeling, valuation and analytics of Fixed Income and OTC derivatives products such as CDS, CDX, IRS, Swaption, TRS Bond/Equity, Options, Commodity and FX derivatives
- Analysis of large datasets to develop FI, EQ and OTC derivatives solutions for portfolio management and trading. SQL, PL-SQL, ETL experience is must
- In depth experience of portfolio modeling, trading, valuation and analytics across major FI and OTC asset classes
- Pricing and analytics calculation based on models and triangulation with market and cross-systems reconciliation
- Design, analysis, modelling, and mapping of financial data for OTC derivatives and complex structured Fixed Income instruments
- Reconciliation of valuation and analytic models, across multiple systems, and attribute differences to models vs input etc.
- Building data-driven FI and OTC performance reporting and hedging workflows using various analytic frameworks, Real vs model portfolio comparison using historical and/or simulated market data etc.
- Analyze workflows and user interfaces, develop functional and technical specifications, design business processes and develop data mapping of interfacing applications
- Implementation and validation of models for pricing and risk management of a wide variety of derivatives using advanced mathematical techniques
- Ensuring the quality and reliability of market data inputs and calibration of models
- Working closely with other product groups and global program team in order to participate in driving new products onboarding and their valuation/analytics process
- Present market views and industry best practices to establish solution approach for with key business users.
- Conduct workshops and review sessions to solicit requirements with business users, normalize requirements for solution design, clarify requirements with stakeholders to develop consensus
- Experience / knowledge of data integration and pipeline technology using ETL tools, such as Informatica, Pentaho, SSIS, Snowflake, Alteryx, etc.
- CFA, FRM, Data analysis/Integration etc. certifications are beneficial.
- Proactive with ownership of delivering milestones on time with high quality and ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines across multiple projects with minimal/ no supervision and attention to detail.
