Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft’s “Cloud First” mission. Our Global Project Controls team supports the delivery of CO+I’s mission and vision as the trusted advisors that deliver a definitive, responsive, and timely project controls program to all business areas via the industry’s best people, work processes, systems, and tools. We are composed of project management professionals who are committed to providing timely delivery of cost and schedule solutions to positively affect project outcomes. This role is a field-based role for the KUALALUMPUR metro. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the field location. This role is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 10+ years of experience in planning and scheduling medium sized capital projects ($50MM USD - $200MM+ USD) in data center, oil and gas or chemicals (or related process industry).
- Excellent understanding of Project Planning, Earned Value Management and Key Commodity Tracking.
- Excellent skills in Oracle P6 project planning software.
- Strong familiarity with CPM scheduling methodology.
- Familiarity with Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
- Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities
- Planning:
- Develop Integrated EPC Master Schedules (IMS) including timelines and dependencies for large-scale datacenter construction projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
- Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Schedule Analysis and Reporting:
- Facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews onsite with GC schedule teams to analyze and validate progress onsite.
- Proactively analyze project schedules and validate progress, review insights with EPC PMs and provides feedback and recommendations to GC.
- Identify and mitigate threats to the project's schedule and initiate corrective actions through field staff.
