Job Overview We are in search of a dedicated Frontend Engineer with a comprehensive grasp of web technologies. The right candidate should be adept at blending technical know-how with design sensibilities to produce intuitive and visually compelling web applications. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our websites and web applications modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Create visually engaging user interfaces, emphasizing design principles such as spacing, alignment, contrast, and typography.
- Craft and optimize responsive designs that provide seamless experiences across different devices and screen orientations.
- Interface with APIs, manage data-fetching tasks, and handle errors in a user-friendly manner.
- Employ best practices for performance, security, accessibility, and SEO.
- Identify and resolve performance and bottleneck issues in the frontend.
- Collaborate with team members to conceive and execute projects from start to finish.
- Understand and utilize relevant open source libraries and tools.
- 2 years of professional experience building and shipping web applications using frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency in web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a must.
- An adept understanding of design aesthetics and principles, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible web interfaces .
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with APIs and managing data-fetching tasks.
- An independent thinker, able to drive tasks forward without constant oversight.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning.
- Exposure to at least one of these web related technologies such as React, Redux, RxJS, Angular, Webpack, Gulp.
- React.js: Functional Components, Hooks, Context API, Router
- Core Web: HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), ES6+ JavaScript
- API: Fetch, Error Handling, Asynchronous operations
- Tools: Git, Webpack/Bundlers, npm/yarn
