We are hiring for Manager/ Senior Manager (Advisory Research) for our organization. Position Summary

  • Overall responsibility to understand the client requirements to carry out research and perform competitor and customer analysis to generate insights on competitive advantages and winning moves.
  • Develop go-to-market plans, market entry, growth & turn-around strategies perfectly aligned with key business objectives.
  • Prepare impactful, high-level client ready PPT/ deliverables for senior leaders of global SMEs.
  • Work with foreign clients to gain knowledge and understanding of what the clients are looking for such as if they want to come to India then what is current situation in the industry, what is required, how the work procedures would be, to guide them in making the right decisions.
  • Focus on business growth by exploring farming opportunities with existing clients to enhance repeat rate. Involvement in interaction with BD clients to identifying prospective advisory work from them.
  • Undertake Project Management & Execution with high levels of efficiency.
  • Responsible for team handling and managing their performance vis-a-vis the overall expectations.
Major Responsibilities Advisory Operations Supervision & Operational
  • Understanding the client requirements and the information they are looking for to conduct secondary/primary market research to be shared with Sr. Manager.
  • Preparation of the report and submission to Sr. manager and client for review.
  • Conducting market research to assess market entry opportunities - Market sizing, addressable market assessment, sectoral analysis, growth forecasting, and challenges.
  • Remaining in tune with the market trends in services and latest updates to share relevant information that is in line with the client requirements.
  • Collaborate with advisory colleagues for gathering market data and insights, fact-based analysis.
  • Forecasting and Analysing data to a high level of accuracy and formulating concise written reports. Use the data gathered during the research to carry out market, customer, competitor, and industry analysis.
  • Project review the work of the AM/DM if required and incorporate the inferences shared from Primary research in the report.
  • Support in creation of proposals. Independently designing proposals and solutions for the clients, pitching, and converting them
  • Responsible for Project management, delegating work and ensuring that projects get delivered per the assigned timelines. Handle planning & budgeting of the overall project.
  • Work as a Client Engagement Manager and ensure all client needs are met per the agreed requirements and timelines. Responsible for handling billing and payments for the assigned clients.
Business Development & Growth Focused
  • Subject Matter expertise and Industry experience to lead team/function and drive key decisions for potential clients.
  • Build strong technical knowledge of the industry and competition/ sector to present relevant offerings.
Client Engagement & Expectation Management
  • Work with foreign clients to gain knowledge and understanding of what the clients are looking for such as if they want to come to India then what is current situation in the industry, what is required, how the work procedures would be, to guide them in making the right decisions.
  • Work on multicultural communication skills to handle communication with the foreign clients.
  • Participate in industry events such as exhibitions, expos to grow networks and identify potential clients.
Proposal Creation End to end process
  • Create and present proposals/ presentations with pricing to high revenue clients, large scale/volume, and revenue clients.
  • Prepare impactful, high-level client ready PPT/ deliverables for senior leaders of global SMEs. Finalize the proposal, presentation and mail it to the potential client after due approvals have been given.
  • Address any queries and post client conversion get a final closing approval on the proposal to take forward for next process.
Team Handling & Management
  • As per requirements, review the work done by the Sr. Executives & executives and sharing inputs to avoid any escalations as well as increase their understanding on handling similar issues. Continually monitor their performance and share the feedback with Seniors at regular intervals.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to take status updates on the work assigned and get involved in case of any issue resolution.
  • Create SOPs and present rules for the processes to standardize the work thereby enhancing quality, accuracy, and efficiency at execution level with consistent delivery standards.
Essential Competencies Communication for Impact:
  • Use varied communication channels effectively, in person to online mediums to establish a relationship with the client.
  • Incorporate excellent written/presentation communication skills in proposal building and creation proposal without errors and rework required.
Self-Presentation and Personal Effectiveness:
  • Present self in a particular standing with best grooming, best etiquettes, and cultural sensitivity to create an impact with the potential client.
Client Engagement & Management:
  • Build connections with potential clients to establish business connect and position the M+V Altios brand effectively.
  • Create an excellent experience with the client’s offering solutions that match with the client’s requirements.
  • Bring technical expertise in discussions with these potential clients to create a possible long-term working relation with them.
Cross- Cultural Understanding:
  • Understanding the cultural nuances of the potential client and build a cultural sensitization to deliver the best experience of M+V Altios brand to the potential client.
Team Handling:
  • Manage the work allocation to the team member to derive high quality data to implement next steps.
  • Direct, guide and build the capability of the team member and guide them in operational direction.
Multitasking and Organization Skills:
  • Able to tap the data gathered on time with potential clients, build 1st level connections and gather insights/intel into probable solutions to be offered. b. Able to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure effective execution.
Project Management & Customer Handling:
  • Able to lead and manage projects and ensure timely delivery of the assigned responsibilities.
  • Adapt at working and engaging with customers and aligning the final outcomes with the expectations.
Qualifications & Technical skills
  • MBA/ BSc/BA Statistics/Maths/BBA/Economics as minimum qualifications
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (PPT/Word/excel)
  • Exposure to conduct primary and secondary research and analyse both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Comfortable in dealing with large amounts of unstructured information and research data.
  • Good understanding of financial documents, strategy frameworks, and research methodologies.
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Project Planning & Management, Problem solving & customer handling.
  • In-depth understanding of Project Management Tools.
Experience Minimum 4-8 years of full-time experience preferred in the experience preferred in the consulting/market research/analytics role. Out of which at least half of the experience should in project management.
