POSITION STATEMENT The Branch Manager is responsible for the operational performance of the branch they are assigned to. They will be required to manage the execution of all operating functions, control costs, and conduct business development activities to ensure their branch is profitable, well-run, and long-lasting. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Proactively manage changes in the department scope, ensuring that any change to the scope is documented and approved.
  2. Identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
  3. Adhere to operational procedures to ensure that the regional department runs smoothly.
  4. Plan and facilitate effective department meetings.
  5. Effectively allocate available resources and determine if additional resources will be required.
  6. Manage department costs: forecast vs. actual.
  7. Develop tools and best practices for improved department management.

REPORTING TO: Operations Manager QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
  1. Degree/diploma in Project Management, Engineering, or another relevant field
  2. At least 5 years of project management or account management experience, including 2 years in the telecommunication industry
  3. Project Management certification or equivalent
  4. MS Office Suite, including MS Projects and Excel skills
  5. Project & programme management: able to manage complex projects, including concurrent projects
  6. Risk management: experienced in identification, assessment, and management of project risks.
