The Knot Worldwide is seeking a motivated Team Lead to oversee our Design Specialist team, supporting customers with personalized wedding products, including stationery, gifts, and favors. - Lead and mentor a team of 5–7 Design Specialists to achieve daily productivity and set quality standards.
- Monitor workflows to ensure timely delivery of proofs and print-ready files.
- Conduct regular quality checks and provide feedback for continuous process improvement.
- Oversee task allocation and address escalations to resolve complex issues.
- Identify process gaps and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate training sessions to develop team skills and product knowledge.
- Support team members in handling challenging customer interactions professionally.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance and quality reports.
- Communicate updates, expectations, and changes to the team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on processes and goals.
- Drive team motivation and engagement through recognition and regular interactions.
- Stay updated on design tools, software, and product developments to guide the team.
- Support high-volume periods by assisting with design-related tasks.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and quality-focused team culture.
- Position may require working hours to align with multiple time-zones, depending on business need
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, including team management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institute/university.
- Wedding industry experience and etiquette knowledge
- Print design knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Proficiency with Google Suite tools, preferred
