We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to oversee and drive our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, management, and strategic planning to support our business objectives. Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and timely resolution of audit findings.
- Taxation: Manage tax planning and compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flows and predict future trends to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
- Financial Controls: Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and enhance the accuracy of financial records.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and recommendations to influence long-term business strategies.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification: Must be a certified Chartered Account.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive financial experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial legislation, statutory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
