Requirements: Qualifications / Certifications:
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering (not National Diploma)
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience
- SAP experience (highly advantageous)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis software
- Knowledge of manufacturing / supply chain processes, including machining, assembly, and material handling.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data related to supply chain functions.
- Process Improvement: Design or enhance supply chain processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Technology Implementation: Implement & integrate new technologies and software for better supply chain management.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports on supply chain activities and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
- Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain process and develop solutions to eliminate them.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Demand Forecasting: Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstock and shortages.
- Training: Train supply chain staff and stakeholders on new procedures and systems.
- Risk Management: Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply during emergencies.
