The Position Managing Director (MD), Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam (SMBV), Commercial HVAC business. The MD, SMBV role will be responsible for the overall strategic leadership and growth across the CHVAC SMVB markets. The role includes end-to-end P&L management, owning the execution of long-term strategy and operational direction for all countries across all functions within the SMBV patch. MD, SMBV will focus on enhancing current offerings, driving new business opportunities within new and existing customers, and driving customer partnerships and relationships. Key Responsibilities Drive strategic business plan for equipment sales and oversee service and aftermarket performance in the country. Lead in-country strategic execution, identifying gaps and opportunities in product and solution offerings needed to drive customer impact and business growth. Identify topline and bottom-line opportunities including cost & productivity to drive growth and profitability. Establish strategy for a multi-functional team to meet business strategy goals and objectives. Establish operational and financial objectives, planning ahead to manage and mitigate risks to the business. Drive people leadership – attract and develop a strong talent pipeline for future growth. Create an engaged workforce and winning culture based on performance and empowerment. Champion safety and drive a culture of safe service operations. Interface with key internal and external stakeholders to present a positive image of the organization. Relationships Reports to: South Asia Pacific (SAP) Regional MD. Direct and matrix reports: Country Leadership team including functions. Peer Relationship: SAP MDs, SAP Aftermarket leader, Functional leaders for Strategy, Marketing, Finance, HR, Digital & Legal. The Candidate Qualifications 15+ years’ experience with at least 10 years in a P&L leadership role, handling a minimum of US$ 100 million in annual sales revenue. Growth mindset and strategic leadership with a track record of developing & implementing initiatives & delivering successful growth. Customer focus and ability to develop and maintain strong B2B relationships. Strong understanding of industrial products/market with a mix of driving technology-based interventions. Adept at managing short-term and long-term commercial decisions to drive growth enablers. Excellent professional track record & experience preferably in a multinational environment. Ability to lead, collaborate, and work in matrix structures. Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline, MBA preferred.
