Job details

Axis Now is currently seeking a Security Product Manager to join our team. This position will report directly to the CEO (a successful and expert security product manager). As a product manager, you will work closely with our R&D, marketing, sales, and design teams to contribute to the growth of our rapidly evolving cybersecurity startup. Our product manager will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing new features for our SSE platform. Your responsibilities will include determining project priorities and delivering the most desired impact for our customers. If you possess a strong background in technology architecture , have powerful logical thinking abilities, can empathize with customer pain points from a holistic perspective, and have an international view , along with rich experience in product-led growth (PLG) , then this position is an excellent fit for you. You will play a significant role in defining and creating our products and features, propelling us to the next level of success. We started building Axis Now in 2023 with cybersecurity and Saa S expert and serial entrepreneur Andy Ong as his second PLG (Product Driven Growth) security venture to address the challenges every company faces in securing, delivering, and managing access to resources. While the way we use technology has changed dramatically over the past 30 years, the access control models and complex stacks of tools most companies rely on are frustrating for administrators and users alike. Axis Now aims to change that, accelerating the transition of the digital world to a modern secure access model, making it easy for companies of all sizes to implement ZTNA/SSE/SASE, whether you are an SMB or a Fortune 500. We believe that an effective cybersecurity solution needs to be easy to use, easy to maintain, and designed with the end user experience in mind. We are just getting started and are an incubator of ICE71 (Singapore-based ICE71, a partnership between Singtel Group's venture capital arm Singtel Innov8 and the National University of Singapore (NUS) through its entrepreneurial arm NUS Enterprise). We currently have more than 10 start-up team employees in Singapore and remote offices around the world. Although we have a very ambitious mission and vision, we need more people who are curious, self-driven, and capable; dreamers and doers who are savvy with Saa S and a growth mindset make it possible. If you're passionate about what we do, if you're someone who likes open collaboration and communication; wakes up every morning motivated to solve big, tough problems (and enjoys the process); you're not perfect but there is a good side. Then you are welcome to join us and work with self-employed, globally diverse, and inclusive teams. What you'll do Taking full responsibility and ownership of products and features from conceptualization to production and testing. Creating and managing feature plans, roadmaps, project plans, and specifications. Collaborating with marketing and R&D teams to assess the value, usability, and feasibility of product features. Managing user experience and feature set of the product, making significant impacts, and acting as an advocate for the product. Researching, gathering, and defining business requirements for the product through discussions with customers and other sources, leading to the release of current and future products. Analyzing and reporting on product features and performance, reflecting on successes, and identifying areas for continuous improvement. Writing solution and use case definitions for new features. Collaborating closely with customers and partners to gather feedback and define new features. Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience Mandatory Requirements: Minimum 3 years of B2 B software experience with an international perspective. Strong technical skills with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. In-depth understanding of various aspects of the product development lifecycle , including product strategy development, requirement definition, user experience design, engineering, quality assurance, and agile release practices. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a high level of self-learning and proactivity. Detail-oriented, data-driven thinking, and powerful logical reasoning. Customer -oriented experience, collaborating with customers. Proficiency in English . Bonus Points: Familiarity with networking concepts and knowledge, such as protocols, routing, tunnels, TCP/IP, protocol, DNS protocol, CDN, Proxy, etc. Familiarity with web services/proxy/gateway (Nginx/Apache/Varnish/Open Resty/Kong/Apisix). Experience in network security software, IT infrastructure software, gateway-related software, and Saa S product domains. Experience with Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies and successful implementation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
