We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in the KSA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, ensuring optimal performance of the company's IT systems, and delivering exceptional service to end-users. This role encompasses network management, hardware and software troubleshooting, IT asset management, and user assistance. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support
- Provide first and second-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, including issues like attachments not downloading, internet connectivity problems, inaccessible websites, and repeated logouts.
- Document and track support requests using the ticketing system to ensure efficient resolution.
- Network Management
- Monitor and manage network traffic to ensure optimal performance.
- Address network problems and perform planned upgrades to routers and access points.
- Provide support during unplanned outages from service providers.
- IT Asset Management
- Assign and unassign equipment and assets, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Oversee the purchase of new equipment and coordinate the repair of damaged equipment.
- Conduct regular health checks on all laptops, including performing Windows updates and malware scans.
- IT Infrastructure Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- User Training and Support
- Conduct user training sessions and provide guidance on IT best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless operation of IT services.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS.
- Proficiency in networking protocols, configurations, and network traffic management.
- Experience with IT asset management and inventory control.
- Familiarity with service providers in the region.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are an advantage.
