Group Financial Reporting Head Report to: GCFO Company Overview: An industrial group of companies listed on the stock market in Saudi Arabia. The group operates in various sectors and has a strong presence in the Kingdom's economy. They are committed to providing high-quality products and services while maintaining financial transparency and accountability. Job Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Financial Reporting Head to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the preparation and submission of all financial statements, reports, and filings to regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  2. Coordinate and manage the financial reporting process, including the review and analysis of financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
  3. Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on financial reporting issues, including the interpretation and application of accounting standards and regulations.
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial reporting is integrated into business planning and decision-making processes.
  6. Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting activities.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification preferred.
  2. 15+ years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  3. Knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Arabian accounting and financial reporting regulations.
  4. Experience with financial reporting software and systems, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  7. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
