Job details
The scope of work includes the following activities but not limited to: This scope of work covers the partial modernization of four elevators (L1, L2, L3, and L4), including the dismantling of existing components and the supply and installation of new elevator components. The modernization aims to enhance performance, safety, and functionality by upgrading key mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
1. Dismantling of Existing Components
- Safe removal and disposal of the following existing elevator components:
- Machine
- Controller
- Governor
- DSC 12” ground floor (2 Nos.), 7” other floors (2 Nos.)
- Cloud Based Monitoring system with live feedback and analysis of the units including breakdowns
- IP rated components to prevent water damage
2. Supply and Installation of New Components
2.1 Machine
- PM Gearless Machine, compliance with EN81-20/50
- Machine Frame & Deflection pulley assembly
- Hand Winder and Machine Room Accessories
- Traction Rope and Rope Fastener
2.2 Governor
- New Governor with Rope
- Governor Tension Device and Accessories
2.3 Controller
- Microprocessor based electronic VVVF controller programmed for a full collective operation in compliance with EN 81-20/50 standards.
- Dry Contacts in the controller
- Installation of the following shaft components:
- Machine room cables
- Shaft cables and wiring
- Car wiring (incl. CBD to COP)
- Weighing Device
- Car top inspection box
- Pit inspection box
- Five Channel 5 Way intercom system: Handset in Pit, Machine Room, Car Top, Lobby, and speaker unit inside the car.
- Floor Selector Assembly.
- Square buttons with white light
- Advanced VVVF closed loop car door operator Controller.
- Variable open/close speeds
- Door positioning through high resolution encoder feedback
2.7 Additional Features
- In advance door open and Re-levelling function
- Door nudging, Main COP attendance, Fireman service, ARD, Car priority
- Speech synthesis service, Door keeping open button.
- BAD interface function (dry contactor signal)
- Lift monitoring system
- Group Control
- Taking units out of group (Group switch operation)
2.8 DSC (Optional)
- Installation of Kiosk-based Destination Selection Control (DSC) system:
- Kiosk 12” on Ground Floor (2 per landing)
- 7” Kiosk on other landing (2 per landing)
- Improve Traffic handling at the Ground Floor
2.9 INSIGHT elevator monitoring system (Optional)
- Live monitoring of elevator operation
- Scheduling options
- PC & Monitor at the security room

FUNCTION
DESCRIPTION
- MONITOR
- REMOTE CONTROL
- Floor: Indicate in which floor car is currently at
- Running/Stopped: Indicate whether the elevator is moving or not
- Direction: Indicate whether the elevator is going up or down
- Fault: Indicates whenever there is any issue with the elevator
- Front Door: Indicate the front door status, whether the door is open or closed
- Rear Door: Indicate the rear door status, whether the door is open or closed
- Car Calls: Indicate all floors with active calls
- Front Hall Calls: Indicate all floors with active front hall calls (up and down)
- Rear Hall Calls: Indicate all floors with active rear hall calls (up and down)
- Block Calls: Indicate which floors are blocked. No call can be issued to blocked floor
- VIP Calls: Indicate all floors with active VIP calls. When a VIP call is set, elevator blocks hall calls, and then attend to VIP call
- Indicate how much weight the elevator carries (percentage of total allowed)
- In Maintenance: Indicate the elevator is under maintenance by physical key
- Priority: When the priority is set, hall calls are blocked and only car calls are accepted
- Emergency Power: Indicates the elevator is in power emergency situation
- Special Mode: Indicates the elevator is in special mode like the VIP calls
- SwitchOff: Indicates the elevator is switched off such as car is moved to park floor, doors are closed and light is switched off
- Indicates the fire detection equipment has been activated
- Indicates the firefighter switch has been activated with key
- Out of Group: Indicates the elevator will work independently of the group which it belongs to
- Peak Traffic: Indicates the peak traffic status
