As a result, our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Who we are looking for?An experienced Senior Risk Lead with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.Job DescriptionAs Senior Risk Lead, you will be involved in:Ensure the delivery of best practice risk management activities and report to the Director of Risk Management and Head of Department.Initiate a proactive approach to the review, development and improvement of the risk management service to the client.Undertake end-to-end project risk management practice on multiple projects/programs.Undertake the creation of risk management plans and processes in adherence to client requirements, processes, policies and frameworks.Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, interviews, workshop facilitation and techniques.Lead workshops with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Conduct risk reviews at regular intervals, identify and analyze, determine response plans, ensure that project and program risk profiles are being monitored and reported.Lead and conduct a comprehensive schedule and cost qualitative risk assessment (QCRA & QSRA) process.Establish integration of the risk management function within the program, with direct touch points to key functions i.e. cost management, schedule management, change control and reporting.Develop risk response strategies and maintain risk mitigation process.Work proactively and collaboratively with program and project teams to eliminate redundancies and identify opportunities for improvement.Facilitate the transfer of knowledge within the immediate risk team and to the client organization.Review and hold Lesson Learned workshops to improve risk identification and increase knowledge of the project to various stakeholders.Work in a collaborative & integrated environment with likeminded risk professionals.Experienced in drafting process and procedures tailored for the clients' needs and requirements.QualificationsMinimum of 10 years post-graduate experience working on major projects preferably in Energy and Natural Resources and infrastructure with minimum last 5 years directly in Program/Project Risk Management.Multi-Disciplinary functional and project experience within a Program Management or Program Controls, Project Services.Strong knowledge of risk modeling and familiar with Risk Software such as Safran, ARM, @Risk, Oracle PRA, Crystal Ball.Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent in relevant discipline.Gained or working towards Project Management / Risk Management certifications are an asset.Master's Degree is an asset.Additional InformationTurner & Townsend is a leading independent professional services company specializing in program management, project management, cost management and consulting across the property, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.
