The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Production & Materials Planning Manager at our plant in Seefeld near Munich, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Manage plant supply chain organization
- Lead Supply Chain weekly reviews, where you will give updates regarding output vs forecast, production schedules, capacity and material constraints, backorder recovery timelines, and successes and areas for improvement
- Maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure high service levels on components
- Provide direction on manufacturing strategies to ensure alignment with supply chain and operation goals
- Improving key metrics like Backorders, Lead Time Adherence, OTIF, Inventory, etc. These topics will require daily communications and participation in the Tier process
- Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND experience in supply chain, operations, or engineering
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German
- Leadership experience
- APICS Certification
- Experience using SAP, creating Power BI reports, and utilizing Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- A collaborative and constructive attitude and the ability to ignite a positive team spirit and drive progress
