In addition to the large volume of inbound inquiries serviced by our existing sales team, we are looking for a Sales Manager to establish and build out an outbound sales team, calling RACQ and non-RACQ members. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for the right person to leverage the capability of GEM Energy while also leveraging the value and trust of the RACQ Brand. The role will report to the Head of Residential, be provided ongoing support from the CEO, and offers exceptional earning potential. Based in a modern office at Pinkenba, Brisbane, this role is pivotal to leading sales initiatives, building a strong team culture focused on excellent sales results, outstanding customer service, and contributing to the growth of our solar energy solutions. About the Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive solar sales growth, expand market share, and meet revenue targets. We intend to deliver $10m in sales in the first year and $20m in sales in the second year.
- Recruit, manage, and motivate a team of lead generators, and solar sales consultants to ensure they achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to optimise their performance.
- Utilise market insights to enhance our product offerings and sales strategies.
- Ensure the sales process transitions seamlessly through to the installation and after-sales support teams.
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics and provide reports to the leadership team.
- Experience managing a sales team and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets greater than $10M
- You understand the importance of creating a culture of continuous learning in both product knowledge and sales techniques
- Experience in the solar energy industry with a strong understanding of solar energy products, technologies, and industry trends is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional earning potential with OTE of over $300k
