As a Metallurgist with us, you'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of metallurgical innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
- In-house and on-site test programs, pioneering new methodologies
- Deep into metallurgical testing and analysis, uncovering insights that drive progress
- Metallurgical testing and analysis
- Process engineering teams during on-site commissioning
- Pilot plant equipment installations at customer sites
- Continuous improvement initiatives, constantly raising the bar for excellence
- Safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring our operations are at the forefront of responsibility
- Degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or similar field
- 2 years of experience in the mining industry as a Metallurgist
- Experience in Froth flotation and gold leaching processes are a must
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment for sample preparation and metallurgical testing
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD
- English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- To work in Australia and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel
