Job Description We are looking for an experienced API Developer & Manager to design, build, and manage multiple APIs for our AI-driven products. You will ensure our APIs are reliable, secure, and scalable for both internal use and external clients. Responsibilities Develop APIs:
- Design and build RESTful APIs using languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Integrate AI and machine learning models into APIs.
- Oversee API lifecycle including versioning and documentation.
- Use API management tools (e.g., AWS API Gateway, Apigee).
- Implement authentication (OAuth2, JWT) and data protection measures.
- Maintain compliance with regulations like GDPR.
- Work with product managers, developers, and data scientists.
- Provide support and guidance on API usage.
- Monitor API performance and usage.
- Continuously improve API efficiency and developer experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years in API development and management.
- Experience with AI-based products and integrating ML models.
- Knowledge of subscription-based API services.
- Proficient in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
- Familiar with API management platforms (Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Previous work in a SaaS environment.
- Relevant certifications in API development or cloud services.
