MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific About the Role: Position Title : Analyst / Sr. Analyst Corporate Title : Analyst / Sr. Analyst Reporting to : Vice President / Assistant Vice President Location : Bengaluru Job Profile Purpose of Role:
- Responsible for smooth processing of issuance, amendment, and cancellation of Bank guarantee.
- Responsible for in depth Bank Guarantee text vetting. To track and handle Invocation Claims.
- Prepared MIS and inputs on regulatory reports of Bank Guarantee operations. Main Responsibilities Process
- Demonstrate and achieve high level of accuracy and proficiency in handling customer transactions and co-ordinate with Branches to ensure timely settlement of BG vetting , Issuance , amendment, and Cancellation requests
- Monitor any new regulations or changes from regulator and HO which impact to bank’s Guarantee operation and ensure bank comply with those regulation
- Support DH to ensure implementation of Policies and IUP
- Support Core Banking project for system UAT and Report development and enhancement to meet regulatory requirement and efficiency of operations
- Support launching of New Product arrangement by conducting UAT
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG.
- Support and resolve customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, MUFG’s standard procedures and local regulations and assess the impact on the daily operations workflow.
- Work in partnership with the wider operations team for information sharing and to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- To support developmental projects relating to the Department.
- Good in teamwork.
- Liaison with Business team for timely & quality deliverables of assistance / services. Other/Control
- Perform the checking process on operational issues, escalated by the less experienced members of the team.
- Perform the reconciliation of any daily pending transactions
- Support the Head of Department in determining the level of support on new MUFG product offerings by carrying out reviews on resourcing issues, internal policies, workarounds, and system capabilities. Support the Head of Department in achieving the department’s KPIs, set by the Branch Management.
- Support in managing the risk profile for the department.
- Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations
- Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
- Minimum 2 to 7 years of relevant experience and sound knowledge of the BG operation
- Strong PC skills (MS Office)
- Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.
- Good understanding of basic banking products.
- Understanding of local relevant regulations.
- Regulatory Certification would be preferred.
