Inventory PlannerOur client in the retail industry requires the service of an Inventory Planner to manage the inbound Supply Chain through effective management of supplier accounts and product ranges.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey performance areas:Data analysis and reportingPromotional planning and replenishmentSystem coordination of supplier accounts to optimize the most profitable ordering patterns/frequencyItem parameter setting and data analysis to enable optimal forecasting resultsPlace supplier purchase orders to ensure achievement of inventory and serviceProject ManagementDesired Experience & QualificationThe successful candidate must have:Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or relevant qualificationMinimum 2 years' experience in supply chainExcellent product knowledgeExcellent Computer Literacy (MS Office - Especially Excel - Pivot Tables)SAP Knowledge is EssentialMust have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
