This is a hybrid position, combining the functions of Project Manager with those of local Dutch Legal Counsel to work on complex legal projects involving various jurisdictions.In this role, you will:Provide legal support for the group's companies, including non-profit organizations, regardless of their jurisdiction (including both EU and non-EU countries), with a strong emphasis on general compliance, as well as corporate and contractual matters.Manage various legal projects, such as incorporations, restructurings, intra-group financing, and contracts involving multiple companies within the group. This includes planning, coordinating the efforts of various distributed teams (legal, tax, finance, procurement, HR, etc.), tracking progress, and delivering final results to stakeholders within agreed timelines.Conduct legal research on a range of topics, including but not limited to corporate matters, operational activities, and the activities of non-profit organizations. This may involve drawing comparisons between the legislative provisions, rules, and licensing requirements of various countries and preparing concise summaries and analyses of these findings.Assist colleagues from our Dutch Legal team in the maintenance of the group's Dutch companies, including the documentation of corporate, procurement, labor, employment, and other relevant matters.Evaluate different risk factors related to business decisions and operations, presenting them to management for final decisions.Communicate and negotiate with external parties, such as regulators, trade registers, external counsels, public authorities, and banks.Fulfill other legal requests as needed.We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:Full working proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.A master's degree in a relevant field from a Dutch university.At least 4 years of post-graduate legal experience, ideally in a multinational corporation or reputable international law firm.Experience in project management and working with legislative systems in different countries.The ability to review, draft, negotiate, and solidify agreements and other legal documents to ensure the company's compliance with all legal regulations.We'd be especially thrilled if you:Have quick reflexes when dealing with foreign laws and novel concepts.Have previous experience with legal matters pertaining to aviation.Have the requisite skills to provide clear and concise legal advice that is understandable to a wide audience.Are able to adapt to large and complex structures with varying priorities and tight deadlines.Are able to captain parallel projects and lead various initiatives.Have creative flair and lateral problem-solving skills, supported by thorough research methodologies.Have a sharp wit and even sharper critical thinking and analytical abilities.Demonstrate transparency, openness, and integrity with your team and the whole company.Benefits:Fascinating work in a friendly team.30 days of paid vacation (local regulations apply).A comfortable working environment with ergonomic workstations and leisure facilities.Excellent opportunities for professional and personal development, including travel to professional conferences worldwide, access to the LinkedIn Learning platform, and more.Additional benefits include lunches in the office and a lunch allowance for work-from-home days, a commuting allowance, an insurance allowance for you and your partner, Dutch language course reimbursement, company events, free refreshments and snacks in the office, and much more.
