Job & Company Description:A client of mine based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and strategic interim (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of the organization for a period of 6 months. This role requires an individual that will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, ensuring stability, and supporting domestic and international expansion plans.The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background within insurance, coupled with proven leadership skills and strategic acumen.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy and PlanningFinancial ManagementMergers and AcquisitionsFinancial Reporting and AnalysisRisk ManagementLeadership and Team ManagementQualifications:Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field;MBA or CA(SA) qualification non-negotiableExperience:Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in insurance or financial services, with a track record of driving financial performanceStrong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting requirementsExperience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and deal structuringExperience with negotiating commercials as well as funds with African countriesSkills Required:Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
