Look no further - my client, a prestigious global brand in the banking industry, is looking for their Chief Information Officer!Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob Overview:Lead the charge in developing and implementing cutting-edge information technology initiatives. Your visionary leadership will drive the planning and execution of enterprise IT systems, enhancing cost-effectiveness, service quality, and business development. Collaborating across departments, you'll foster a customer-focused culture, elevating efficiency and driving performance objectives.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic vision and leadership for IT initiatives aligned with business objectives.Direct planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems to improve cost-effectiveness and service quality.Collaborate with Executive Leadership to develop IT strategy supporting business initiatives.Manage resources, budgets, and personnel to achieve strategic IT and business goals.Integrate acquired businesses' systems holistically into the Bank's environment.Oversee delivery of services within budget and schedules, resolving issues proactively.Drive operational efficiencies, control budgets, and improve SLAs to clients.Support extant systems, especially related to income, compliance, and risk management.Develop strategic roadmap for digital and data strategies, enhancing intercommunication.Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and management to optimize benefit-to-cost ratios.Foster strategic relationships with vendor partners for mutual success.Desired Qualifications and Experience:15 yrs + IT experience8 yrs + in a managerial role5 yrs + in the Banking industryProven experience as a CIO or similar leadership roleHow to Apply:If you meet the above requirements, please send your resume DIRECTLY to: helsmith@networkfinance.co.zaIf there is no reply within two weeks, please assume that your application for the vacancy was unsuccessful.
