International Hotel Revenue Manager Posting Date: 28 Oct 2024 | Close Date: 26 Jan 2025 Client Background: International Independent Hotel Management Company and Hotel Consulting Firm Location: Soho Suites KLCC Headcount: 1 Working Days: Monday to Saturday Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Hotel Revenue Manager with at least 10 years of experience in revenue management for various hotel properties. The ideal candidate will oversee all Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), including Booking.com, Expedia, and others, to maximize revenue and occupancy rates. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize rates and inventory across all OTAs, ensuring alignment with overall revenue goals (Booking.com, Expedia.com, Trip.com, AirBnB.com, etc). Includes adjusting rates based on supply and demand.
- Create, oversee and report on all promotions through all channels, including long-term stay offers, couple offers, local offers, and last-minute offers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to inform pricing adjustments.
- Collaborate with hotel operations and sales teams to establish pricing policies and promotional strategies, ensuring congruence in communication with leads inquiring about special offers.
- Manage all OTA/Wholesaler/Travel Agency relationships, keeping contracts updated annually, renegotiating contracts, and following up regularly to ensure maximum bookings.
- Conduct regular performance analysis to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare detailed reports on revenue performance, occupancy rates, and pricing strategies for hotel directors.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in revenue management.
- Provide training and support to hotel staff on revenue management practices and tools.
- A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of revenue management experience in the hotel industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing OTAs and optimizing revenue for different hotels, ideally in multiple countries.
- Must have direct experience and be technically proficient in using hotel PMS, Booking Engine, and Channel Distribution software, including modifying rate plans and setting up new room categories.
- Experience in creating new partnerships with Wholesalers/Travel Agencies and managing those partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with hotel teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently.
