IT Integration Engineer

Largely remote but with monthly travel to France and occasional UK site travel Fluent French is essential Salary up to £65,000 + Benefits Early stage, PE backed and highly acquisitive business is looking for an ambitious French speaking IT Engineer to join the team. The focus of this role will be integrating acquired businesses into the group with a focus on the French market. This will involve a great deal of project oriented migration work, across the Microsoft suite of products. The role will involve monthly travel to France to meet with the acquired businesses senior leadership team, to understand the IT environment, and create a project plan to integrate them into the group structure. The ability to understand stakeholder requirements, give confidence and advice to non-technical stakeholders will be key at this stage. As will strong Project work and delivery experience. Focus areas will be:
- Microsoft 365 Migrations (Mailboxes, Sharepoint etc)
- InTune administration
- Server and File Storage - Admin and Migration
- Firewalls & Antivirus
- Backup solutions
- Telephony
- Unified laptops / mobile
- Digitisation tools for acquired businesses
- Fluent French speaker essential.
- Bright, ambitious, and excited to be on a business growth journey.
- Must be able to engage with all levels from the Board to users.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to give confidence, build trust, manage expectations and ultimately deliver.
- Solid Project / Migration IT Engineering background with experience across the suite of Microsoft products in a largely Windows environment.
- Experience of integrating businesses following M&A / Mergers and Acquisitions will be highly desirable.
