About This Role Job Description - Compliance Analyst Critical Responsibilities

  1. Execute regular quarterly detailed testing of ICFR key controls.
  2. Manage periodic (quarterly) ICFR control certification process and resulting updates for changes to the SOX (ICFR) documentation in SOX Certification System for changes in processes and controls (Narratives and Control Matrix).
  3. Perform detailed transactional or attribute testing of simple/low-risk areas of other internal audit projects to support the Corporate internal audit team.
  4. Coordinate audit findings/SOX deficiency action plan remediation monitoring and other administrative functions.
Skills/Background :
  1. 3-5 years work experience that includes auditing or testing internal controls.
  2. Educational background including equivalent bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
  3. CAM (Chartered Accountant of Malaysia) or similar professional designation considered an advantage.
  4. Strong communication skills in English; French would be a plus (written and spoken – key stakeholders are in Canada, US, and Europe).
  5. Prior experience with data analytics and data analysis tools to automate audit testing and develop techniques for continuous auditing and analyzing large volumes of data would be an asset.
  6. Ability to work independently under remote working conditions.
