Reporting to the Trade Channel Manager the Channel Lead role is responsible for developing the category routetomarket strategy: analyzing understanding driving and creating new avenues for sales growth and new opportunities for making available the categorys brands products and services to customers/shoppers/ consumers. This role works closely with the brand category marketing teams and the field sales teams to undertake the critical operations that translate brand and category marketing strategies and plans into detailed operational activities and guidelines for effective and optimized execution across the various sales channels. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead growth strategy development for trade channels and routestomarket for the companys brands and products.
- Set guidance for field sales and retail operations teams to execute the marketing strategy and programs in the trade channels and the routetomarket.
- Set volume forecast volume allocation plans and pricing execution detail for the sales team as aligned with the brand marketing team.
- College graduate from any degree
- 35 years experience in trade marketing management trade channels or sales and marketing operations planning
- Exposure to customer management brand marketing and sales operations a plus
- Experience in supporting retail operations a plus
- Adept in trade marketing especially in the area of trade channel development channel analysis/ insight channel growth planning
- Capable in analyzing sellin sellout/sellthrough and offtake; channel sales forecasting volume allocations; distribution planning
- Versed in pricing and commercial analysis channel P&L analyses
- Experienced in channel operations support
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Systematic organized and detailoriented
- Digital native (Spreadsheets Presentations Word Processing Cloud Sharing Platforms)
- Selfmotivated proactive and assertive
- Biased towards action and results
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
