Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the entire billing lifecycle, from initial charge creation to final payment collection.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize accounts receivable.
• Analyze complex billing issues independently, applying critical thinking skills.
• Maintain meticulous financial records using advanced spreadsheet techniques and specialized medical billing software.
• Conduct proactive follow-ups on unpaid accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports and analytics.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients and staff on billing-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in English is essential; Spanish language skills are highly valued.
• Advanced computer skills, with expertise in financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data with high accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in medical billing, preferably in radiology or diagnostic imaging, is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work US Pacific Time hours.
• In-depth understanding of medical billing practices, insurance claim procedures, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work remotely with a high degree of self-motivation and time management skills.
