Facility Engineer
Job details
Job Responsibilities Maintenance of building, facilities, and security at all Company sites. Coordinate and execute, when necessary, inspection, testing, general maintenance, and repair of critical site systems and equipment. Ensure that all equipment and other facilities are functioning properly. Critical systems and equipment include power/UPS, back-up generator and fuel supply, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), plumbing/water supply, security doors/alarms/cameras, and fire safety systems and equipment. Provide situation/status updates to the Facility Manager on issues that need resolution and ensure critical systems or equipment are fully operational. Initiate interventions to solve problems in the facilities and develop a system for cleaning, repair, and maintenance. Deliver timely and efficient solutions to facility-related requests. Liaise with contractors on maintenance and repair. Review risk assessments submitted by contractors prior to the commencement of work. Ensure required safety measures are in place prior to the commencement of work. Comply with management systems practices. Minimum Requirements Diploma holder with knowledge of facility management principles and techniques. At least 3 to 5 years of working experience for a senior position. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Resourcefulness, strategic thinking, and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple, complex, ongoing tasks and projects. High level of integrity, judgment, and follow-through. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
