Senior Data Analyst

Role : The role entails collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to optimize operations/logistics/processes. The meaningful derivation of data to develop dashboards and reports for areas critical to business. Collaboration with cross functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and intended improvements. The Data Analyst's scope of work revolves around defining means & ways of collecting right data sets from business lines & support functions, apply analytic tools to draw meaningful dashboards, reports to aid data driven decision making to support stake holders & cross-functional teams in running the business efficiently. Job Responsibilities:

1. Collect and Maintain Data:

• Acquire data from open sources, business lines, research and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and clean data by deploying analytical tools.

1. Data Storage and Preservation:

• Develop strategies to store & preserve data for optimizing statistical efficiency and quality.

1. Data Analysis:

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.

1. Reporting and Insights:

• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to monitor KPIs & developing intelligence around the business.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

1. Process Improvement:

• Locate and suggest business strategies based of insights gained from data analysis & trends.

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages.
• Knowledge of statistical tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certification in Data Science or Analytics.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
