Senior M365 Security and compliance Engineer

Job Description

The responsibilities of the Microsoft Security & Endpoint Manager Consultant include, but are not limited to, the following: - Assist the End Users being able to open and use the application on supported endpoints.

- Review the health and performance of Microsoft 365 services. - Implement and manage security controls to protect Microsoft 365 data and services from unauthorized access. - Provision and manage Microsoft Intune policies for device and application management, including configuration, compliance policies, and conditional access rules. - Manage security patches and updates to address vulnerabilities and ensure system security.

- Generate and deliver regular reports on endpoint security incidents, compliance status, and risk assessments.

- Perform regular backups of critical data and ensure reliable disaster recovery capabilities. Requirements Experience :

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Configuration Manager, or other endpoint management solutions.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Defender, Azure Security solutions, and security monitoring tools.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365 security architecture, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments , compliance audits, and security operations.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and security best practices.

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management, policy enforcement, and application management.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender , Windows Defender ATP , and other security toolsets .
• Expertise in Conditional Access Policies , Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) , and other identity security solutions .
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) , Hybrid Identity Management , and Microsoft Graph API .
