Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist Employment Type: Full-Time Location: On-site, South Delhi Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring Systems Development & Oversight
  • Design, implement, and manage monitoring systems to track project activities, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Ensure the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data to assess the progress and effectiveness of programs.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks aligned with project goals.
  1. Technical Assistance and Capacity Building
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and partners to enhance their understanding and application of M&E frameworks.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building initiatives for staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the adoption of best practices in data collection, reporting, and analysis.
  1. Evaluation and Impact Assessment
  • Design and conduct evaluations to assess program effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Employ robust statistical methods to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Prepare detailed impact assessment reports and case studies highlighting program outcomes and areas for improvement.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop clear, concise, and visually engaging reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and partners.
  • Contribute to periodic progress reports, presentations, and publications showcasing the organization’s impact.
  1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including program managers, field staff, and external partners.
  • Build strong relationships with community stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making and community involvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for M&E-related queries, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Background:
  • Master’s degree in Sociology, Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in M&E methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel, or similar).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Professional Experience:
  • Proven track record in monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment within non-profit or development organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct program evaluations and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and community stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Additional Competencies:
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with the UN SDGs and sustainable development principles.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
