Dear Jobseekers, We are conducting Face-To-Face weekend drive in Coimbatore on 14th Dec (Saturday) Walk-in Location - Coimbatore (HCL Tech - Block B2, Rathinam Technopark , Pollachi Road, Eachanari) Work location: Bangalore. Candidate must be interested to relocate to Bangalore. Job title: System - Design Engineer JD for System - Design Engineer Experience - 3 to 12 Years • Referencing customer specifications/contractual documents & translating into design documents for gas turbine and centrifugal compressor accessories. • Collaborating with adjacent engineering disciplines in creation of Piping and Instrumentation diagram - a key engineering deliverable • Handling customer queries, resolve comments during the evolution of system engineering. • Identifying project criticalities, risks and leading the design reviews, taking appropriate actions to ensure project success. • Developing of Painting specification, electric load list, Utility consumption list & lube oil components data sheet (Pump, Motor, Heat exchanger)• Performing manual & tool calculations/simulations using tools like CFD, Hysys, HTRI, MATLAB etc. for sizing of various Auxiliary components (example, lube oil console components, pumps/motors/valves and other components of the lube oil console). • Addressing Material supplier queries/clarifications during technical alignment phase, working together with Sourcing team to ensure timely placement of Purchase order. • Interact with customer for the resolution of comments & get the documents approved from customer as per the project milestones. • Embracing Digital culture and supporting the creation of engineering tools to achieve positive productivity. • Review and approve all documents and designs related to Gas Turbine Auxiliary systems. • Review and approve Design review action items, technical alignments, HAZOP • Good hands-on experience with CAD Software – AutoCAD/Hysys. Job title: System - Design Engineer Experience: 4 to 12 Years Design Engineer – Turbomachinery JD Mechanical Design Engineer – Turbomachinery Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college • 3 to 10 years of experience as a design engineer in mechanical design, preferably with some on-site experience in the oil & gas industry Preferred Knowledge & Skills: • Experience with turbomachinery products such as centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, and gas turbines. • Proficiency in using NX for preparing 2D cross-sections and assembly drawings in line with company policies and standards. • Strong collaboration skills with calculation engineers to finalize designs and standardize machines to reduce cycle time. • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and capability to perform hand calculations. • Experience reviewing raw and machining drawings of turbomachinery products and releasing them in Teamcenter PLM • Ability to prepare compressor assembly drawings in NX and release them in Teamcenter PLM Responsibilities: • Understand customer requirements and design project details, preparing 2D cross-sections of machines on NX in accordance with company policies and standards. • Collaborate with calculation engineers to ensure accurate design details and standardize machines to reduce cycle time. • Review raw and machining drawings of turbomachinery products and release them in Teamcenter PLM • Prepare and release compressor/turbine assembly drawings in NX using Teamcenter PLM Interested candidates pls share your resume to hemalatha_a@hcltech.com
