JOB SUMMARY Interact with our customers providing and processing information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services. Process documents for orders and complete data entry as received. The customer service department is the first point of contact for our customers. Must have excellent people skills while remaining calm and helpful in even the most frustrating situations. You will use a proactive approach in customer care that will help customers and improve our brand image. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze requests, provide information requested or pinpoint who can best provide the information, and route the request to the proper channel.
- Receive and respond to customer requests by either telephone and/or email within a timely manner.
- Provide customers with accurate troubleshooting solutions and assistance while using our website (online bookings, tracking their shipment, updating status, etc.).
- Upload pods (proof of delivery) exceptions (damage) into our system, enter notes in WT and update the Exception report.
- Filling, scanning documents, print labels, and assist with daily spreadsheets.
- Create orders.
- Work closely with the department teams to enhance the quality of service.
- Demonstrate great communication skills.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum of one to two years’ experience in customer service.
- Ability to respond via phone and email.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who is passionate about interacting with people and providing above-average service levels.
- Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal skills, team player with a “get it done” attitude.
- Conscientious and reliable; punctuality is critical.
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite.
