Job Purpose: Assist Manager, Environmental Control in driving sustainability related projects including environmental protection workstreams, management of outsourced environmental services like pest management, solid waste management, sewerage management, general cleaning/hygiene, water quality management, events management, water features and Facilities Management related tasks. Job Responsibilities: Involvement in cross divisional collaborative projects on operational planning and development for Environmental Protection (pollution, slope failure, climate change related challenges, etc.), Environmental Services and Sustainability to be in line with and delivery of Greater Sentosa Masterplan and Sustainable Sentosa Plan. Responsible for managing a team of supervisors in daily auditing of outsourced/routine works and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements to achieve a high standard of cleanliness on the island (including buildings, beaches, attractions, and common areas). Manage and handle government procurement and contract management (tender/quotation processes). Analyze current workstreams and work on improvements through transformational projects. Liaise and work with contractors to identify shortcomings and follow up on improvements to their work processes and standards. Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders (Island Partners, Zone Managers, MICE/Sales/Events, etc.) in addressing their environmental services issues. Provide leadership during crises in the fields of environmental services like oil spill response and pandemic clean-up. Ensure that all safety compliances and processes are adhered to by contractors and other requirements stipulated in the WSHA. Perform administrative duties, i.e., collect, analyze, and compile all relevant data for use in reports, plans, and for future reference. Compile daily audit inspection reports, attendance, and recommendations for service lapse deductions. Manage drainage, air and water quality, sewerage management, facilities management, and new initiatives/projects; provide leadership during crisis management SCOG for oil spill and pandemic response. Perform any other procurement and contract management related tasks as may be assigned. Carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time. Job Requirements: Minimally a Degree in the area of environmental management/science/services/facilities management with at least 3 years of experience in sustainability, facility management, and environmental services operations (e.g., pest control, solid waste management, general cleaning, water quality management, events management, sewerage management). Added advantage if the candidate possesses an Environmental Control Officer/Coordinator License by NEA. Good communication and interpersonal skills. A team player who is able to work independently. Good IT skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Able to multi-task and possess a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced working environment. Willing and able to work on weekends and public holidays. Class 3 driving license is a must. #J-18808-Ljbffr
