Job Purpose: Manages payroll data accuracy and timely processing. Ensures compliance with payroll regulations. Processes employee leaves, salary changes, and deductions. Job Description:

  1. Payroll Processing: Assist with batch salary processing, including salary changes, advances, and missed salaries. Generate monthly salary comparison reports.
  2. Data Collection and Verification: Collect, verify, and organize employee time and attendance data. Input accurate and updated salary changes, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant payroll information.
  3. Payroll Calculations: Assist with basic salary calculations, advance salary payments, deductions, and withholdings based on established formulas and pay codes.
  4. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring data integrity and consistency in departmental folders and Document Management Systems (DMS).
  5. Leave Management: Process employee leave requests, update leave balances, and verify records for air ticket reimbursements and encashments.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare monthly leave encashment reports and participate in follow-up, correction, and updating of monthly comment sheets.
  7. Administrative Support: Handle payroll-related administrative tasks, such as document management, data entry, and office support.
  8. Payroll Administration: Collaborate with HR departments and other relevant stakeholders to process new employee onboarding, terminations, promotions, and other employment status changes.
  9. Compliance and Reporting: Stay up to date with local payroll regulations and laws. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to the respective external stakeholders.
  10. Problem Resolution: Address payroll discrepancies, errors, and employee inquiries related to compensation and deductions.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes, improve efficiency, and enhance payroll-related policies or procedures. Participate in projects related to system implementations or process enhancements.
* All other job-related duties as assigned Desired Candidate Profile Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting and Finance, or a relevant degree. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in payroll processing and management. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Bahrain Payroll Laws and Regulations. Skills and/or Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Payroll Systems and Software, preferably Oracle HRMS.
  • Understanding of Bahrain Payroll Laws and Regulations.
