Number: 163413 Job Scope As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative staff, coordinating office activities, and ensuring that all administrative functions are performed efficiently. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders while fostering a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and productivity. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage day-to-day office operations including scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies, and overseeing facility management.
  2. Supervise administrative staff including receptionists and clerks; provide training and support as needed.
  3. Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  4. Coordinate communication between departments to ensure alignment on project goals.
  5. Prepare reports on office performance metrics; analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Manage budgets related to office supplies and administrative expenses.
  7. Organize company events, meetings, and conferences; handle logistics from planning through execution.
  8. Maintain filing systems both electronic and physical; ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  9. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and service providers; negotiate contracts as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office management or administrative role within the construction or engineering industry.
  3. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana or Trello).
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients at all levels.
  7. Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to construction environments is an advantage.
