QHSE Engineer: Are you a QHSE Engineer looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and grow? Support to maintain an effective Quality Management System and align with Emerson policy. Lead continuous improvement of the site’s Safety & Quality performance to meet Emerson and regulatory requirements as needed. Role responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop QMS for continuous improvement in Quality performance.
  • Plan and implement various QHSE initiatives identified in the MEA Strategic objectives.
  • Harmonize and align the MSOL Quality processes and activities within MEA per the global Quality Management system.
  • Collaborate with various functions to identify, share, and implement standard processes and lessons learned from Global/MEA Quality communications.
  • Support for all Quality related internal & external audits to ensure audits are conducted in a timely manner and RCA & Corrective actions are closed optimally.
  • Recommend equipment, process, and procedural changes to improve the performance.
  • Track, analyze and communicate Quality performance through Monthly Quality Meetings.
  • Ensure and support all inspections are done and appropriate corrective actions are taken to ensure compliance.
  • Establish and supervise QHSE KPIs.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions assigned to KPI owners are implemented.
  • Organize Monthly and Quarterly Quality & Safety Reviews.
  • Maintain ISO 9001, 45001, 18001 Documentation & Certification.
  • Support and handle all Internal and External Audits.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies like FM, ATEX for approval & audits.
  • Manage/support for Customer’s complaints, Warranty and Post Warranty Support.
  • Organize and/or conduct training based on Global Training matrix such as (CAPA, Red Light, DMAIC, Rapid Response etc.).
  • Calibration of Test & Measuring Equipment (e-metrology).
  • Incoming Inspection of parts and components as per Rosemount parts Inspection plan and customer approved drawing.
  • Complete processes to quarantine, review, and disposition nonconforming material.
  • Actively participate in analyzing Root cause of the issue with the supplier.
  • Verify enter company component part quality once floor returned and report on IBQ.
  • External supplier part scrap analysis to understand parts & process failure.
  • Support on inspection for Direct sourcing process.
  • Facilitate customer inspections.
  • Actively resolve customer complaints and take appropriate measures to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Perform in-house calibration verification of instruments using Master instrument as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of all Inspection tools.
Learning outcomes that will be expected of the intern(s) and how you will evaluate the success of the intern(s): In this role, the intern can understand the overall Quality & Safety Management System, various standards like ISO 9001, ISO 45001 requirements and Quality Tools. Also, there is an opportunity to learn/practice Power BI tool, SharePoint, and Dashboard for Quality & Safety Metrics. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Essential Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production), ISO 9001.
  • Desirable Degree with 5+ yrs., Diploma with 3+yrs experience in Quality Management.
