As a Senior Project Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of multiple projects and ensuring their successful completion within budget and on time. This is a fulltime position with our client offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure they stay within budget.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and finances.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions and strategies.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage project invoicing and ensure timely payments from clients.
- Mentor and train junior project controllers on financial processes and procedures.
- Emirati nationality is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controlling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and financial concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
