About Our Client As one of the top global pharmaceutical companies, our client has been operating in the market for more than 50 years. Job Description Directly reporting to the Regional Medical Head, the professional will be managing a high-caliber team of +12 people. S/he will be accountable for:
- Developing and implementing vision, mission, and strategy which aims to ensure the best scientific and medical expertise in the assigned therapeutic areas in accordance with regional medical road-map, countries regulations, and company policies/procedures.
- Overseeing the function budget and resource allocation.
- Managing key external stakeholder relations activities.
- Securing necessary medical know-how breadth and depth for all company employees to maximize patient experience journey.
- Growing team members' skills through closely following personal development plans/individual performance, supporting with executing necessary critical training, coaching, and mentoring.
- MD or equivalent Medical degree.
- 7 to 12 years of medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry coupled with a minimum of 3 years of team management experience is a must.
- General medicine and cardiovascular therapeutic areas know-how would bring an important advantage.
- Regional medical experience would bring an important advantage.
- Strategic mindset, great people management skills, offering strong capacity to grow into further senior roles (potential successor for Regional Medical Head), and adaptation to working with different cultures are critical.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration/communication skills.
- Analytic, business acumen, and results-driven, able to give strategic advice/guidance to business via reinforcing trust and confidence among key decision makers.
- Challenge seeker, passionate, courageous, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, and willingness to learn and transform.
- Being a member of the Regional Medical Leadership team.
