We are searching for an exceptional Remote SDET Lead to join our client's dynamic software development startup. Our client is a prominent multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, and with a well-funded operation and a team of over 200 employees, they are revolutionizing the industry. Requirements:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy with strong emphasis on automation for multiple systems in different business areas including copy trading, risk monitoring, and platform solutions. Ultimate goal - fully automated releases.
- Build and maintain a diverse testing environment, covering functional, integration, performance, chaos (potentially) and security testing across various platforms
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and management of a team of SDET Leads and senior individual contributors.
- Drive the adoption and improvement of advanced testing technologies and methodologies.
- Drive the implementation of engineering best practices in testing code and processes.
- Conduct selective code reviews, especially for tests and changes in testing infrastructure.
- Maintain high team morale and motivation, support career growth, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, 3+ with Java stack.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a QA / SDET Lead role.
- Proven experience managing a team of 10+ senior individual contributors and team leads in a large-scale testing environment, preferably in well-recognized product companies.
- Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects.
- Strong skills in Java, with the ability to develop, maintain, and analyze automated tests.
- Hands on experience with CI/CI pipelines.
- Deep understanding of a wide range of testing methodologies and processes.
- Solid understanding of performance testing.
- Solid understanding of engineering practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team motivation and effective decision-making.
- Effective communication skills, able to convey messages to diverse stakeholders, including business and development teams.
