Cash and Asset Manager, Perigon Group Pty Limited. Sydney NSW.

Financial Managers & Controllers (Accounting). Contract/Temp. $120k -

$130k + Super. Rewarding opportunity as a Cash & Asset Manager within

a leading FMCG on a contractual basis. You will be looking after 2-3

direct reports and reporting to the group's Finance Manager. This role

has the potential for longer-term opportunities, career progression

and WFH flexibility.

Your day-to-day: Assist in administering accounting policy and

maintenance of established systems, procedures and controls. Support

and assist the Financial Controller in delivering the periodic,

quarterly and annual business results to the senior leadership team.

Develop, innovate and implement systems solutions that enhance the

control framework, increase automation and improve data and reporting

for asset and loss prevention and cash control functions. Ensure the

accuracy of cash balance sheets.

Ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately and that unusual

variances are investigated promptly. Integrate and embed new revenue

collection and sales channels into underlying accounting &

reconciliation systems concerning accounting & internal policies.

Prepare annual audits and financial ratio calculations. Liaise with

external auditors on controls for cash control and loss prevention.

Who you are: External or internal auditing background. University and

CA/CPA qualified. Strong knowledge of debits & credits (essential).

Minimum five years of overall accounting experience. Experience

training, supervising, and/or mentoring teams. Experience working

within a commercial business (advantageous).
