Job Summary: onsemi is currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to work on wire bond process. This person will utilize her/his knowledge, skills, and most importantly energy and willingness to learn, to take on challenges to support onsemi 's technology and engineering. This position reports to the Manager. Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Work with wirebond equipment technician to improve equipment stability.
2. Optimize process parameters, quality, and yield improvement efforts.
3. Sustain process PFMEA and control plan.
4. Review and involve in root cause analysis and 8D closure with the process engineering team.
5. Create and maintain detailed technical process documentation including work instructions.
6. Implement advances in metrology and inspection techniques.
7. Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and vendors.
8. Possess knowledge of project management and planning skills.
9. Manage equipment and process optimization qualifications.
10. Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Competencies The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability in:

1. Knowledge of basic operation, design, and function of manufacturing equipment (ASM, Shikawa).
2. Understanding of the wire bonding process.
3. Design of experiments and statistical data analysis.
4. Project management.
5. Self-motivated, independent, and hands-on.
6. Approachability and internal customer focus.
7. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and simultaneously support and coordinate multiple projects.
