Procurement Engineer

Supply Chain Management / Procurement Exp Maintenance Industry / Electrical Spare Parts Exp Degree in Supply Chain / Business Job Scope: Responsible for sourcing of direct / indirect materials Vendor management and negotiating for the best price and payment term Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors on planning and initiation of necessary procurement Liaison with vendors for timely delivery and monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges and defects of materials Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues Assist to implement internal procurement strategies Prepare, develop and review department contracts for new and existing supplier, and constantly monitoring the validity and expiry of each contract Prepare and develop various documentations (e.g. Tender, SOPs, Work Instruction, Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation Assist as the System Administrator for section’s Maintenance Management System (MMS) Monitor and track Asset Life Cycle and plan asset renewal and/or disposal Support budgetary planning and costing Any other duties as assigned Requirements: Possess a Degree in Supply Chain / Business Admin or related discipline Possess 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in Asset Management / Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Logistic / Warehousing No experience are welcome and training will be provided Prior experience from equipment maintenance industry or with experience in electrical spare parts is advantageous Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) is advantageous Able to work well independently and in a team under a challenging and fast-paced environment Strong communications, interpersonal and presentation skills To apply please click on the APPLY NOW button or email your resume with the following details inside your resume for faster processing: Reason for leaving each past & current employment Salary drawn for each past & current employment Expected Salary Earliest availability date We regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
