Are you fascinated with robots? NCS Engineering is looking for enthusiastic personnel to join a newly formed team that works on robotics projects. You will be part of the development team to design, implement, and maintain in-house developed products related to robotics fleet management systems. We are looking for the role of Senior Multi-Agent Robot System Engineers to lead the development and deployment of multi-robot coordination systems for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in factory, warehouse, or service robotics settings. Responsibilities: Lead the development and deployment of multi-robot coordination systems for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in factory, warehouse, or service robotics settings. Develop and refine algorithms for multi-robot collaboration, including task scheduling, obstacle avoidance, and dynamic path-planning in real-time environments. Develop and optimize fleet management systems for efficient path-planning and resource allocation. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems with existing infrastructure. Ensure safety and productivity in shared human-robot environments. Build and maintain simulation environments to test multi-robot strategies and path-planning algorithms for scalability and efficiency. Document and standardize fleet management processes and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in developing MAR systems. Solid programming skills (C++, Python, Java), with a focus on robotics and real-time systems. Proficiency in robotic platforms like ROS, ROS2, or other related middleware systems. Strong understanding of network protocols and communication systems (e.g., MQTT, ZMQ) for robotic fleet coordination. Experience with 3D simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac SIM) for MARS testing. Knowledge of AI/ML (machine learning, deep learning). Familiarity with computer vision and sensor fusion. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing large-scale systems for high performance and reliability. Experience in developing and deploying autonomous navigation systems, including SLAM, obstacle avoidance, and traffic control algorithms. Nice-to-Haves: Experience in Open-RMF or similar multi-robot fleet management frameworks. Experience with Golang. Knowledge of industrial automation and integration with factory or warehouse systems (e.g., WMS, ERP). Familiarity with advanced path-planning algorithms and optimization techniques (e.g., A*, Dijkstra, RRT). Experience with traffic management systems for AMRs in shared spaces (e.g., factories, hospitals, warehouses). We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs—Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity—and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives. We are committed to our Impact: Valuing our clients, Growing our people, and Creating our future. Together, we make the extraordinary happen. #J-18808-Ljbffr
